Sports and Athletic Massage
Sports/athletic massage helps to increase performance and keep the body fit and toned. Receiving this massage 24 hours to 30 minutes before an athletic event can promote muscle flexibility and help put you in the right frame of mind for a great performance.
A post-event massage applied 1 hour to 24 hours after an event will help remove lactic acid from your muscles and increase blood flow to reduce delayed onset muscle soreness (DOMS).
You’ll want to arrive hydrated for your sports/athletic massage.
